About the Role

We are successful when our customers are successful. As a product manager, you will be responsible for validating and executing on company strategy to deliver ever more value through the Clark platform. You will work closely with design and engineering teams to build features, measure results, and distill actionable insights to inform future iterations. You will collaborate with leadership to break down big ideas into work items, own the prioritization and grooming of a product backlog, and work with engineering to estimate and deliver new features on a repeatable and predictable schedule.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Leading the implementation, launch, and iteration of user-centric products
  • Understand user needs and gather product requirements
  • Contribute to a shared product vision and strategy
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, engineering/design, and other teams
  • Execute on the product roadmap and build consensus on prioritization to drive product execution
  • Own and analyze metrics that inform product success & health
  • Collaborate on user research initiatives
  • Drive product development with a world-class team of Engineers and Designers

Your qualities

  • 2-4 years as a Product Manager at an early-stage tech startup
  • You have the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • You are outcome-oriented. You over-communicate the desired outcome and work collaboratively to create a path to achieve it
  • You love understanding and optimizing workflows, and always willing to try a processes to see what works
  • You can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there
  • You are focused on delivering the highest value possible to customers at all times
  • You are aligned in our mission to create better outcomes for students of all backgrounds

Bonus points for

  • Experience with SQL, Mixpanel, and Clubhouse.io
  • Experience working on SaaS software
  • Programming experience
