This position will assist the Finance team in the preparation of the long-term operating budgets and assist with strategic planning, development and financing of capital projects in the senior living industry. Job Description:
This position will assist the Finance team in the preparation of the long-term operating budgets and assist with strategic planning, development and financing of capital projects in the senior living industry. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and interact with all levels of management. The position requires a high level of independent judgment, initiative and problem-solving skills. The candidate will report directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial models for executive management, investors, and lenders
- Evaluate financial feasibility of proposed projects
- Work directly with senior management in the development of business and strategic plans, proposals and presentations
- Assist department in due diligence processes by coordinating and managing the information flow to and from third parties (i.e., sellers, buyers, owners, bankers, legal counsel, etc.)
- Provide information to executive leadership by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concertation in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 1-3 years of business experience including financial analysis, accounting, and/or operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to research and resolve issues and propose solutions
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage complex tasks and issues concurrently
- Demonstrate flexibility and positive client- service attitude
- Self-motivated and able to self-prioritize with minimal supervision
- Expertise and advanced skills in Excel
