Multiple Food & Beverage Attendant jobs are available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department. The position receives supervision from the Senior Food and Beverage Attendant or assigned management personnel. evenings, weekends and holidays, and work. This position allows you to earn tips. These positions are at our Pecan Valley Golf Course location.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED
- No experience required
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail and point-of-sale experience. Knowledge and experience at a public or private golf facility.
- Valid TABC Certificate. Valid City of Fort Worth Food Handler’s certificate or approved Food Handler’s certificate recognized by The City of Fort Worth.
The Food & Beverage Attendant job responsibilities include:
- Perform a range of duties relative to the daily operations of the Golf Snack Bar including opening and closing.
- Prepare and sell of food and drinks.
- Assist with check-in and stock of merchandise.
- Prepare of meals for large groups.
- Assist with monthly inventories.
- Follow and ensure proper cash controls are being maintained in accordance with City cash handling policies and procedures and providing exceptional customer service.
Working Conditions:
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking and repetitive motions.
Physical Demand:
Light Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work
