Pay Range: $34.45/hr. - $44.79/hr.

A Grant Management and Community Development Coordinator job is available with the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Services/Housing Development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Real Estate Finance.
- Four (4) years of professional experience in local government, community development, economic development, or commercial real estate such as multifamily housing.
- Two (2) years of experience in federal grants management, public infrastructure projects such as street reconstruction, project procurement, contract management and project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure improvements, construction methods, contracting, and overall project management.
- Experience in the administration of HUD Community Planning and Development Programs and/or other federal housing programs and grants.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as GIS and any project management software.
The Grant Management and Community Development Coordinator job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate new development and planning activities and be responsible for managing, supporting and administering community development projects and City programs that are funded by federal, state and local sources.
- Supervise, direct, and coordinate review of the work plan for the Neighborhood Services Division; assign work activities and projects; and monitor work flow.
- Collaborate with other City departments, the Fort Worth Housing Finance Corporation, developers/partners, real estate brokers, engineers, contracted vendors/service providers and the general public and represent the Neighborhood Services Department at community meeting and City board and commission meetings.
- Prepare contracts and monitor associated projects ensuring compliance and completion of the projects. Meet internal and external deadlines; be results driven; and produce high volumes of work as priorities shift.
