A Management Analyst I job is available with the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Services Department Planning Division. This position will be responsible for data analysis and program reporting for the Fort Worth Emergency Rental Assistance Program (FWERAP), including reviewing client data, reimbursement requests, and preparing quarterly reports for submission to the United States Department of the Treasury. In addition, this position will assist with Environmental Review compliance of city-sponsored housing and community development projects.
The Planning Division of NSD is responsible for the planning and reporting functions for $13 million in federal grants received annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Grant (HOME), as well as the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) which helps persons experiencing homelessness or at risk for experiencing homelessness and the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program which funds housing and supportive services for persons with AIDS.
This is a 2-year grant funded position.
The Management Analyst I job responsibilities include:
- Review and reconciliation of monthly subrecipient reimbursement request documentation
- Preparation of quarterly reports for submission to U.S. Department of Treasury
- Communication and interaction with other division and program staff as well as subrecipient agencies
- Review of activity or project scopes of work to ensure completeness and consistency with city and federal regulations
- Preparation of public notices, internal memoranda, HUD-required forms, written reports, spreadsheet analyses, and program schedules
- Monthly/Quarterly budget and project status reports
- Review and preparation of Environmental Review Requests
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- no previous experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous municipal government experience
- Principles and practices of HUD Environmental Review and Assessment; HUD grants, reporting and processes; HUD Integrated Disbursement and Information System
- PeopleSoft Financials, Neighborly and Shah software
- Knowledge and experience working with federal regulations
- Customer Service experience
