A Pool/Lifeguard Manager job is available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department - Aquatics Division. The Park & Recreations Department is seeking professional individuals with a background in pool operations. The Pool Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and safety for staff and patrons. These positions are summer positions and require working days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Limited off-season hours available.
This Position qualifies for the following incentives which is separate from the base pay:
Completion of Assignment Pay. You can earn up to a $200 incentive pay, which is based on the amount of days worked while on assignment.
The Pool/Lifeguard Manager job responsibilities include:
Cash handling
Personnel management
Facility management
Water chemistry management
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older and must possess or have the ability to obtain (prior to May 15th ) a Lifeguard Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of general mechanical operations of a swimming pool of swimming pools
Communicate effectively orally and in writing; must be competent in water safety management; rescue techniques; cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); first aid applications
Experience working at a municipal swimming pool
Conditions of Employment
Candidates who do not meet the Education requirement, may be considered if they have more relevant work experience than the position requires. Those selected for employment will be required to pass Pre-Employment checks depending on the position requirements. Those could include, but are not limited to: criminal background check, drug screen, education verification, etc. Criminal convictions will be considered on a case by case basis.
