What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for a Senior Content Designer to design product outcomes that meet our customer's needs, offering them new ways to interact and engage with currency, treasury, and payment solutions. 

In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the voice and user experience across several product areas and help establish the practice of Content Design at Circle. As part of the product design team, you’ll partner with product, legal, marketing, customer support, and compliance to craft a world-class experience, achieving cohesive language and a unified voice across products and developer platforms that reflect our brand.

What you'll work on:

  • Collaborating with product designers to create content-rich, engaging user interfaces.
  • Develop and implement content style guides specific to each organization’s business objectives to maintain consistency across all platforms and teams. Achieving this in collaboration with partners in marketing, customer support and technical writing teams.
  • Driving an understanding of our customers, end users, and their content needs in the rapidly changing crypto and blockchain problem space
  • Gather product requirements from legal and compliance partners  to assess risk and break down highly complex information, developing  a strategy in collaboration with brand marketing, product marketing and customer support, turning insider jargon into content that is approachable for anyone. 
  • Leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform both your and stakeholders’ decision-making
  • Contributing to a growing product design team, helping install best practices and processes as we scale. In partnership with copywriters and technical writers to uplevel and influence content writing across the organization.
  • Clarifying, simplifying, and crafting natural language to define a product experience that can be rendered throughout the product  - converting complex and ambiguous topics into easy-to-understand narratives.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

Senior Content Designer

    • More than 4 years of content design / UX writing, working cross-functionally within a product team, partnering closely with your design, product management and engineering peers as well as external teams such as Marketing and Legal
    • A portfolio that shows end-to-end narratives of how you solve problems through your design process and cross-functional collaborative work
    • An enjoyment of perfecting user experiences through experimentation and iteration
    • Familiarity working within design systems and using them to shortcut work best served by previous solutions
    • Experience working with problems related to B2B, Enterprise, or Developer tools 

Lead Content Designer

    • All the requirements of a Senior Content Designer and:
      • More than 7 years of UX writing  or content design experience, having owned the end-to-end content execution and evolution of several products and/or product features
      • History of contributing to a strong design culture, placing the customer at the center of your work and contributing to the elevation of others’ work
      • Ability to “connect-the-dots” through the work being done in other product areas to solve synonymous problems
      • Experience working with problems related to B2B, Enterprise, or Developer tools

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Senior Content Designer

Base Pay Range: $122,500 - $162,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Lead Content Designer

Base Pay Range: $145,000 - $192,500

Annual Bonus Target: 15%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
