Circ is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Danville, Virginia Innovation Center. This role requires a candidate who can perform testing on a number of laboratory instruments, work in a safe manner, keep good records in their lab notebook and conduct analysis on data as required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Follow standard operating procedures outlined for the various analytical instruments
- Precise and accurate sample preparation and recording relevant information in laboratory notebook.
- Conducts lab safety inspections with team members.
- Attention to detail for each instrument so to obtain accurate and repeatable data.
- Analyze, summarize and communicate results as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL BRING...
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology preferred.
- Comfortable handing solvents, acids, bases and other chemicals with the appropriate PPE
- Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm for solving challenges independently and with teammates
- High interest in laboratory instruments and analyzing data.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable lab safety and OSHA regulations.
- Previous material characterization and laboratory experience is a plus.
- Strong alignment with the values of the company and a high level of character integrity.
