The Content Marketing Sr Specialist will be responsible for leading Chowbus content marketing strategy and daily management to increase brand awareness. We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. You will develop and manage Chowbus blog, social media, app store review, google review and support creating content for other marketing channels. 

This individual should have experience with content creation and channel management. He/she should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy.

This role reports to the Brand Marketing Manager and partner with other marketing functions to meet shared goals.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead Chowbus content strategy to increase Chowbus online presence
  • Manage content across all platforms, including email, blog and social media
  • Manage Chowbus social media including growth strategy, user activation, content generation and customer interaction.
  • Build a Chowbus blog from scratch, identify its position, content, and distribution.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content on related marketing channels, including online and offline
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Support PR, KOL efforts and other marketing functions based on request

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
  • 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a team player
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and be flexible enough to evolve in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excited by startup agility and empowerment. 
  • Passionate about asian food
  • Fluent in Chinese a plus
