We are looking for someone to join one of the most exciting teams at Choco: the Business Initiatives team. We support our C-Level in creating a business vision and drive business transformation initiatives throughout the organization to enable scalability.

As a Marketplace Content Manager, you will help Choco design and accelerate its journey towards a sustainable marketplace business model.

In this role, you will join a multifunctional project management team. Day to day, you will be working hand-in-hand with our operational, on-the-field teams in Paris, but also with our Product, Design and Marketing teams in Berlin. In this ecosystem, you will build a 360 view and become the go-to person for all matters linked to content & production, and own our content strategy from the ground up.

Due to the highly collaborative nature of our business (and the fact that we enjoy spending time together), this is primarily an in-office position based in Paris.

Pioneer our content strategy

  • Build a general content strategy for Choco Marketplace from the ground up, and brainstorm future features, conversion drivers, and channels
  • Ensure the construction/consolidation of a bank of visual and written content for all Vendors and Products that will appear on our platform (KPI: % content filled on a Vendor, Catalog, and Product basis)
  • Understand product taxonomy (product, subcategory, and category layers) and work hand-in-hand with the Project team to build efficient search and recommendations mechanisms. Provide ongoing strategic insights and recommendations
  • Build a capacity and production plan for visual and written content production, in collaboration with external stakeholders (photographers, iconographs, studios, stylists…), and own processes.
  • Organize and oversee production (including photo sessions), and relationships with stakeholders.

  • 3+ years experience in content management, ideally in an e-commerce environment
    • Clear understanding of all dimensions of content (text, image, UX and UI drivers)
    • Very data oriented and hands-on approach, strong ability to think in funnels and conversion drivers
    • Production experience desirable but not essential
  • Proactive, driven and self-motivated
  • Strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects
  • Proven ability to work autonomously within fast changing environments
  • Fluency (C1) in French and English. German and Spanish are a plus
