The food industry is an industry with essential problems, especially in food-supply-chain. We leverage technology to build the digital platform on which the global food trade will operate. We have the potential to reduce food prices, decrease food waste by 30%.

In 2018 we entered the market with our chat-based ordering app and had drastically changed the way businesses work and order with their suppliers. Our founders have helped build companies such as Zalando (IPO’d), Lazada (sold to Alibaba) and Foodora (sold to DeliveryHero). We recently raised one of the largest Series A funding rounds in European history.

What you will do


As a Product Operations Manager at Choco, you will lead cross-functional projects designed to improve Choco’s product processes efficiency and launch readiness. You will be involved in the complete lifecycle of product development bringing in insights from cross-functional partners including Product Management, Account Management, Global Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Customer Support to guarantee operational excellence and launch readiness. Product Operations Managers are passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience, achieving product objectives, and working with multiple partners. On a daily level your main set of responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring the Operations teams are ready with the resources, information and processes required to support new products (training, playbooks, documentation, resolution paths, FAQs, etc)

  • Developing, managing, and continuously improving processes for scale that help our product and engineering teams meet their goals more efficiently and effectively

  • Working with operations teams to collect, prioritize and communicate product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development

  • Surfacing customer or operations use-cases and edge-cases to validate requirements and proposed product solutions

  • Partnering with customer-facing and operations teams to help them make more tailored content for specific audiences

  • Planning, coordinating, and driving discipline around the processes for testing, launching and rollout of new products and features

  • Serving as a central point of contact for inbound requests from other teams, responding (or appropriately routing them) to save engineering time

 

The ideal candidate brings

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 4+ years working experience in program or project management, product operations, consulting, or equivalent 

  • Customer centricity and ability to align customer needs with business priorities and product roadmap

  • Experience building trusted partnerships with cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership

  • SQL skills to drive data analysis
