🍫  We are looking for someone to join one of the most exciting teams at Choco: special projects.  This team manages a wide range of areas, including but not limited to logistics, new ventures and verticals, M&A, optimising current operations, and testing then scaling POCs. This is an opportunity to be part of a team at the heart of Choco’s future, the special projects team. We are responsible for exploring where and how the company might develop in the future, as well as running all the projects that do not fit into the company’s ‘core’ functions. This includes building and managing out Choco’s new logistics department, managing all strategic partnerships, managing all M&A projects, running POCs for potential monetisation projects and working with other departments to improve their operational functions. 

In this role, you will initially support the VP of Choco’s logistics department in managing and streamlining the team following its integration into Choco, before transitioning to take over the leadership of other strategic projects the special projects team are running.  You will manage and deliver these projects to an exceptional standard, ensuring that we maximise learnings and possibilities of success. Essential here will be building optimal processes and structures, carefully managing internal and external stakeholders to get their support, and identifying then improving on any issues or pain points that you confront. Hence, you will 

  • Take leadership roles across multiple workstreams, planning and managing the the projects as they develops 

  • Run the stakeholder engagement for your projects

  • Identify organizational challenges around the project you are working on and develop actionable solutions 

  • Ensure the workstreams you are managing are transparent, data led and always align with team KPIs

  • Manage more junior team members who support on the workstream you are leading 

  • Work closely with the senior leadership team supporting them on ad hoc strategic projects 

  • Quickly pick up and support your team members on any of their projects 

⚙️ Experience needed to be successful in this role: ⚙️

  • 5+ years experience in consulting or similar role within company (special projects, strategy lead, CEO office, global head of, etc) 

  • Strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills 

  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish 

  • Proactive, driven and self-motivated 

  • Proven ability to work autonomously within fast changing environments 

  • Ability to cope with uncertainty and move quickly between multiple different projects

  • Fluency (C1) in English, German desirable 

  • Startup experience desirable but not essential 

  • Logistics experience desirable but not essential
