About The Role:
Now in its third year, Chief is developing its first-ever content arm of the brand. We are looking to hire an Associate Editorial Producer who is a multi-media whiz with experience producing audio and video content at a media company, along with having heavy familiarity in using CMSes to publish web content. This role will report into the Head of Editorial.
This creative operator should have a journalistic background, with a penchant for culling the heart and crux of a story across medium, with the technical skills in multi-media production to execute. With equal parts creative storyteller and operative, the Associate Editorial Producer should be rigorous to detail and deadlines, able to not only manage their own deliverables but oversee freelance vendors, managing multiple projects at once.
Lead development of Chief’s podcast, from concept to production to publishing.
Editorially help develop the programming, story arch, and episode content for podcast, in partnership with Head of Editorial.
Liaise, manage, and work with freelance production at every step of pre-pro to post-pro to produce weekly podcast episodes; from prepping guests, developing content for episodes be it finessing interview questions, researching content topics, or lining up guests.
Line edit and provide editorial feedback on all episodes.
Manage analytic reports and develop insights.
Produce video content for editorial and sponsored, hiring and managing third-party vendors for execution, overseeing project logistics from pre-pro to post.
Help publish static content on website CMS.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years in multi-media production
Experience in working with digital CMS.
Incredibly well-versed and knowledgable in reporting against management/leadership and business trends, with a strong pulse on the culture of work for women.
Fastidious and aggressive with time management.
Thrives in a fast-paced digital media environment
Is passionate about advancing women in the workplace and telling women stories.
