Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and motivated individual to fill the role of Marketing Director. This is an amazing opportunity to have an immense impact across the Chefman & Chef iQ brands. The Marketing Director will direct our Product & Brand Marketing initiatives and will be responsible for elevating & amplifying the Chefman & CHEF iQ brand voices across all customer facing platforms, including retail, ecommerce, and press, and strategically deploying and continuously analyzing and improving marketing programs. The role will also include collaborating with the Product Development Team to spearhead new product launches and overall brand positioning & strategy.

 Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible to oversee all marketing strategies & consumer facing content. This includes:

  • General Marketing
    • Develop & enhance the current marketing strategy for new and existing products, categories, regions, and sales channels
    • Guiding the day-to-day activities of the marketing team
    • Complete category ownership, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the Small Appliance competitive landscape, especially innovation & category trends.
  • Project management
    • Utilize market research to inform new product development concepts & innovations
    • Oversee the support of Product Development protocol fulfillment with all relevant marketing material such as web pages, sell sheets, packaging, etc. for smooth handoff to Sales Teams
    • Oversee product lifecycles and launches from initial ideation to EOL, including development, launch, and promotion.
  • eCommerce/online assets
    • Overseeing the collaboration of the Marketing Team with Graphics, Culinary, Photography and Videography Teams to manage and maintain retail, Chefman.com & Club Chefman website assets.
      • Crafting Descriptions and Bullet Points
      • Collecting appropriate Graphics and Imagery
      • Reviewing and revising video content
      • SEM/SEO
    • Packaging
      • Oversee the close coordination between the Marketing Team and the Creative and Graphics Teams to carefully craft compelling packaging and gift boxes for our products with special attention given to each detail
    • Social Media
      • Oversee the management and maintenance of Chefman content across all social media platforms
      • Oversee the coordination between the Marketing and Creative Teams to create engaging posts to engender brand loyalty and name recognition
      • Work with strategic outside creators to arrange exciting cross promotional opportunities for Chefman and CHEF iQ
    • Sales
      • Work with and support the Sales Team with Marketing initiatives to help promote sell-in and sell-out metrics
      • Collaborate with Design Team on in-store assets, including displays, video, endcaps etc.
    • Analytics
      • Gather and analyze analytics on all key business efforts to ensure maximum efficacy & efficiency, including advertising and app analytics
      • Develop the tools to build, analyze, and present upon budget recommendations.
    • Other
      • Develop concepts and oversee smooth operations at trade shows
      • Coordinate with external partners to disseminate brand voice

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Marketing experience within CPG (ideally with some international experience)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a marketing leader
  • Relevant experience in creating, budgeting & analyzing campaigns
