About the Role

Chefman is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer with knowledge of QC procedures and processes to monitor the quality of physical, electro-mechanical consumer products. The Engineer is expected to conduct inspections of customer product returns, diagnostic analysis, and to file reports of their findings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection and root cause analysis on all returned products (physical, electro-mechanical consumer products)
  • Regularly prepare Preventive and Corrective Action Plans
  • Follow up with Suppliers to ensure proper implementation of recommended Corrective Action Plans
  • Conduct data analysis and provide data reports on all customer product returns
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Team to monitor and analyze Customer Product Reviews posted online and on social media platforms
  • Recommend design modifications and enhanced assembly processes to resolve consistent product failures
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Development Teams to plan and perform QC Testing of New Products as well as to recommend and implement Corrective Action Plans when appropriate
  • Participate in quality planning sessions during various phases of the Product Development process and contribute towards product modifications
  • Support Chefman China Team Quality Control reporting, detections, and improvements
  • Support Manufacturing partners throughout all stages of the Product Development lifecycle to ensure product are manufactured with the highest level of quality
  • Input Quality Control findings and data into Chefman’s database platform (Salesforce)

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven ability to perform inspection and root cause analysis on physical, electro-mechanical consumer products
