The Regional Sales Manager
To take total responsibility for the sales function of the specified region of MS SBU of Cheetah Digital, by developing new business opportunities and meeting revenue targets.
What You’ll Do
DRIVING SALES RESULTS
- Responsible for the Sales revenue of the specified region of the Marketing Services SBU
- Track internal & external progress by week to ensure monthly goals are met
- Stay focused & accept challenges of new responsibility or strategy changes
- Demonstrate understanding of how MS goal achievement rolls-up to impact overall profitability of dept and company
- Responsible for the development of strategies to address market segments and expand existing coverage for MS products and services
- Lead by example by being a highly successful sales person by bringing in key accounts on own merit
- Drive effective Sales strategies using consultative approach, and ongoing customer engagement with clients
DEVELOP CLIENT BASE & MANAGE EFFECTIVE PIPELINE
- Be the key interface with the market
- Build and manage a strong network of contacts
- Ensure that sales pipeline is consistently maintained and objectives consistently translated to meet specific targets and objectives
- Prioritise potential leads
- Establish & execute plan for contacting prospects
- Identify & categorize opportunities early
- Work with stakeholders (internal & external) to move opportunities in pipeline through cycles
- Analyse gaps in pipeline and address them with suitable strategies
- Focus on best opportunity by understanding market
- Evaluate new products, services and segments on an ongoing basis to expand footprint
What We’re Looking For
- At least 7 years of Sales experience, with a network of business contacts
- A minimum of 3 years of B2B expertise with solution approach
- A bulk of the experience should pertain to India
- Continuous development of own knowledge and expertise
- Very good awareness of the marketplace and the business issues
- Excellent communicator
- Focus on collaboration and idea sharing – Team player
- Builds consensus with senior management on key issues
- MBA, with Sales experience
- Ability to develop relationships with client
- Strong networking experience at relevant levels and business development skills
- High-level of energy, Self motivated, self-starter
