We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help Checkr improve one of our most mission-critical core screenings: motor vehicle reports (MVR). The MVR team is looking for a teammate that is highly collaborative, cares deeply about the mission of our company, and is eager to work with a diverse engineering team (83% female identifying). 

 

Our ideal candidate is obsessed with quality, is detail-oriented, makes data-driven decisions, has a successful track record of continuously optimizing and building differentiation in established products with product-market fit , and is effective at collaborating with engineering teams to deliver product functionality.

 

What a typical week may look like at Checkr:

  • Developing deep subject matter expertise in domain (motor vehicle records).
  • Building deep understanding and empathy for external and internal users of Checkr.
  • Analyzing large data sets and complex workflows to uncover new opportunities.
  • Partnering with internal teams to deeply understand, document, analyze and synthesize product quality needs into roadmap plans and detailed specifications. 
  • Supporting product execution by writing clear requirements from a user perspective, and partnering with the QE on acceptance criteria
