The Execution Analysis platform consists of products and applications specific to all pre-trade activities, such as quote management, execution support and monitoring, which enable proactive decision-making for Chatham Financial clients through actionable insights, optimization opportunities, and holistic risk management. We are currently looking for a Product Lead who will be responsible for the product suite supporting these post-trade activities. 

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Product while maintaining a dotted line to the General Manager responsible for the business platform. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage high-performing teams, and at times, oversee managers to ensure the successful execution of our product strategy. You will also be responsible for setting the vision, mission and execution strategies for each of the product team, ensuring consistency in the user experience. In so doing, you will improve employee and client experience, increase revenue and reduce inefficiencies. 

Key to success, this product leader will reach across several stakeholders to build capabilities and align delivery. As a successful candidate, you will set the context on outcomes for all product squads in your purview, as well as partner closely with other product leads and Head of Product to ensure excellence in execution across all of ChathamDirect.  

In this role you will: 

  • Demonstrate strategic product leadership of business platform.
    • Accountable for the complex and matrixed Execution Analysis product suite.
    • Oversee entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company and business platform’s vision and goals.
    • Provide strategic direction and support to product teams across the squads supporting the Execution Analysis business platforms.
    • Craft and deliver innovative client-centric solutions.
    • Ensure products meet market demands, enhance user experience, and transform markets
    • Commit to data-driven insights to make product choices and measure success against key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Proactively pursue simplicity by identifying opportunities for consolidation, deprecation and removal of applications, products or functionality that do not meet long term needs.
    • Critical partner in business cases for new opportunities, supporting sizing, estimations and execution planning.
    • Own continuous product discovery, alongside GM, in support of key business objectives. 
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to Win as a Team. 
    • Foster strong partnerships with all General Managers, Technical Leadership, Marketing, Legal and relevant Client Engagement teams.  
    • Facilitate seamless communication and alignment across different business platforms to ensure cohesive product development.
    • Serve as a key liaison between product teams and senior leadership, advocating for product needs and priorities. 
  • Cultivate a team of future product leaders. 
    • Invest in our world-class team by leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of product managers and, at times, managers of product teams.
    • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the product organization.
    • Implement best practices in product management, including agile methodologies, market research, and customer feedback integration. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement.
    • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Manage expectations and address concerns from various stakeholders to maintain alignment and support.
    • Represent the product organization in executive meetings, providing insights and updates on product performance.
    • Don’t stand stillEscalate and elevate cross-functional dependencies for success and work proactively to remove barriers.
    • Ruthlessly eliminate confusion on internal product squads and ensure comprehensive clarity of the long-term vision, mission and expected outcomes across the product suite.

They will elevate their team to be strategic product managers with a strong ability to ship excellent products and features that drive tangible business outcomes. The ability to be successful in a complicated, highly collaborative enterprise is highly necessary, especially in those with operational complexity, or diverse customer needs. No challenge will be too small in the pursuit of empowering our clients. 

Contributors to your success: 

  • 15+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing managers in a federated organizational model.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset with clearly demonstrated impact on business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with instituting and adhering to product management best practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management, trade execution and financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of current market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance, tenacious and accountable in driving results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
  • A risk-taker who seeks data and input from others to foresee possible threats or unintended circumstances from decisions; someone who takes smart risks.
