CRA’s Labor and Employment Practice provides expertise and support in a wide range of litigation disputes involving employment processes such as compensation, hiring, promotion, termination, and the role of gender, race, ethnicity and age in employment practices. Our clients, which include preeminent law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies, come to us for our technical skills, rigorous analysis, and expert insight to understand all aspects of their employment data. We also assist employers by conducting proactive studies of employment and contracting practices, monitoring consent decrees and settlement agreements, and designing systems to track employment practices.
Your Responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities may include:
- Programming, model building, regression and data analysis in statistical analysis programs (either Stata, SAS, or R)
- Reviewing, processing, and constructing datasets that serve as inputs to these analyses, including company time-keep, applicant tracking, performance, and HRIS data
- Performing labor market research
- Reviewing and summarizing documents
- Participating in analysis design, project management and report preparation
- Ensuring reliability of analysis through quality control review
Qualifications
We are looking for curious, analytical, highly-motivated candidates with 0-1 years of full-time, professional experience programming in Stata, SAS, R or Python. The ideal candidate will have focused undergraduate and/or graduate study coursework in programming languages, and mathematics or economics. We value knowledge of economic and statistical concepts, research experience, quantitative ability, exceptional English written and oral communication skills, and a high level of initiative. We expect Analysts to use data to solve client problems, work collaboratively with a team, effectively manage their time and prioritize tasks, and take pride and ownership in their work.

Work Location Flexibility
CRA creates a work environment that enables our colleagues to benefit from being together in the office to best deliver on our promise of career growth, mentorship and inclusivity. At the same time, we realize that individuals realize a range of benefits when working from home periodically. We currently ask that individuals spend 3 to 4 days a week on average working in the office (which may include traveling to another CRA office or to a client's location), with specific days determined in coordination with your practice or team. At certain times of the year (e.g. holiday periods), additional remote work options are offered to those whose work commitments permit it, although our offices remain open for those who choose or need to be there.
