We’re seeking a manager for our Corporate Security team who will lead and continue growing a security program focused on enabling CZI staff while ensuring that we protect sensitive information across a multitude of business systems (e.g. Salesforce and Workday), corporate systems (e.g. G Suite and Slack), and foundational IT infrastructure (e.g. device management and authentication). We’ve set out to build a unique corporate security program by closely partnering our engineering, security, and IT teams together rather than relying on traditional enterprise controls and rigid policies.
Manage and lead our growing corporate security team supporting senior technical program managers and partnering with best-in-class vendors.
Ensure that we’re building a flexible and robust corporate information security program that continuously evaluates, tracks, and manages risks.
Serve as an internal champion and consultant for security including continuing to invest in building ongoing internal training programs.
Participate in on-call rotations for security incident response.
5+ years of information security experience within a forward-leaning enterprise-style environment including 3+ years of people management experience.
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to lead via influence, in complex cross-functional environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse set of audiences of varying backgrounds.
Demonstrated willingness to roll up your sleeves and go above and beyond to achieve the team's end goals.
