Position Overview

In your role as Government Accounts Manager (GAM), you will develop and execute Ceribell's revenue growth strategy within government hospitals.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans involving but not limited to revenue generation from new product introductions, existing products, and product lines, compliance management, and developing strong relationships with all key decision makers (Economic and Clinical) within targeted accounts. Ceribell's overall mission, vision, and strategy will be guiding your creation and execution of these strategies.

We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of disruptive medical device sales experience, 5+ years of a VA/DOD medical device leadership role, exceptional account management experience, a high degree of energy, and the ability to move clients to action, as well as goal-oriented and tenacious. Ceribell is seeking an influence management specialist who understands current and prospective customers' business needs in order to bring value and improve patient outcomes, as well as exceeding Ceribell's business goals.

While this is a remote position, candidates must live near a major airport due to travel requirement. 

What You'll Do  

  • Build and implement VA/DOD strategy to achieve revenue targets - identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a revenue strategy in targeted accounts with a team of internal stakeholders.
  • Create and follow a sales strategy for new business opportunities and existing accounts by implementing hospital and VISN level plans. Incorporate feedback about customer value propositions, competitive landscapes, and more into communication with teams internally.
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue forecasts, quotas, metrics and customer growth projections for Ceribell's EEG solution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in prospective and existing accounts.
  • Represent Ceribell’s strategically and relative to the competition, by staying current on competition and industry trends.
  • Drive new sales and increase profitability for assigned customers through effective executive level engagement with key partners (Hospital, VISN, National).
  • Ensure client communications and requirements are established and maintained so that their needs are met and goals are met.
  • Outline, prepare and deliver proposals addressing clients' technical, financial and operational needs and concerns while achieving positive returns for the customer and the company.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial organization and management in transitioning projects from conception to implementation.
  • Lead the management of the sales pipeline and accurately forecast to meet revenue attainment goals.
  • Map out acquisition pathway to guide sales team in working through VA/DOD opportunities.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience (5 years leading govt. function)
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Sales experience in the healthcare industry is required.
  • Experience working with C-level executives in the healthcare industry
  • Solid network.
  • Experience working closely with IDN’s/Health Systems
  • Strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and perform effectively under ambiguity and rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Having a thorough understanding of complex hierarchies and internal relationships in large healthcare systems.
  • Subject matter expert in health care, health systems, and technology.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as necessary (approximately 40-60% travel)
