We are breaking down the barriers to access to mental healthcare so that anybody can get the care and meds they need immediately and for just $99/month. We launched publicly in January 2020, are growing at over 60% month-over-month, and need your help.
About the Role
We are hiring nurse practitioners to provide patient care and medication management, which includes initial consultations for depression & anxiety and follow-up visits for titration of medications, monitoring, and more. The salary range posted is for a full-time role, which is our priority in hiring and we are looking for nurse practitioners licensed in multiple states or willing to get licensed in multiple states. We are also hiring part-time nurse practitioners who are licensed in two or more of the states we are operate in: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
Nurse practitioners at Cerebral are paired with Care Counselors that help guide clients after their initial evaluations, and there are Psychiatrists on staff that can receive patients that need elevation of care. So it is an interdisciplinary team managing the patient‘s treatment at Cerebral. In particular, we believe that our telemedicine model for psych care will be revolutionary in improving access to care in much needed geographically rural areas where it is desperately needed.
We are looking for nurse practitioners who possess the following strengths: verbal and written communication, empathetic & intuitive listening, relationship building, and well-structured thought. Psychiatric training is preferred. Must also be computer literate, and have advanced knowledge of multiple software systems (Slack, Google Suite, Doxy.me, etc.), or be comfortable learning them quickly.
We are looking for candidates with at least 2 licenses out of these states (more is a plus) and DEA registration in one of these states :California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
Must be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate.
