Role Summary:
In this role, you will report to the Manager of Sales Operations. You'll collaborate with a team of cross-functional professionals, working most closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Customer Success, IT, and Finance. You will be responsible for assisting the Sales team throughout the quote-to-cash process. This role also serves as Legal Liaison, working closely with our outside legal counsel to expedite contract reviews, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Deal Support:
- Assist sales teams in preparing quotes, proposals, and pricing configurations.
- Ensure deals comply with company policies, pricing guidelines, and approval workflows.
- Act as the first point of contact for questions related to deal structuring and submission.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to fill out vendor questionnaires
- Legal Liaison (Project Management):
- Coordinate contract reviews between Sales and outside Legal counsel, ensuring alignment with deal timelines.
- Review and escalate non-standard terms to legal counsel for approval.
- Track contract review progress and communicate updates to sales teams.
- Maintain a repository of pre-approved legal terms, templates, and playbooks to streamline contract negotiations.
- Assist with the resolution of contractual issues, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Approval Coordination:
- Facilitate the deal approval process by engaging with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
- Monitor and follow up on pending approvals to meet deadlines.
- Process Management:
- Update and maintain deal-related documentation and templates.
- Ensure accurate deal records in systems such as Salesforce or Salesforce CPQ.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Finance to confirm deal profitability and revenue recognition.
- Work with Legal and internal stakeholders to address customer-specific requirements and exceptions.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to optimize tools and refine workflows.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Verify that deals align with company policies, pricing strategies, and contractual standards.
- Escalate exceptions and provide necessary documentation to relevant stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1-3 years in a Deals Desk, Sales Support, Sales Operations, or Contract Management role
- Experience as a legal liaison or familiarity with contract management is highly preferred
- Experience and proficiency with administering and reporting out of Salesforce.com
- Extremely organized with close attention to detail
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS sales environment
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment

Our target salary range for this role is between $64,000 USD and $82,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
