 The Role:

The Demo Experience team is responsible for shaping and executing strategies to effectively showcase and position our cutting-edge technology in the market. As the Demo Experience Director, you will be responsible to lead a global team of dedicated demo engineers. This team works closely with product management, product marketing and GTM teams to create the most extraordinary experiences around our platform. 

In this high-profile role you will directly influence revenue growth and market momentum, requiring close collaboration with Celonis’ top leadership. This role offers significant visibility, accountability, and the opportunity for high rewards as demos are pivotal to our product-driven success.

Demo Experience at Celonis is strategic, scrappy, and a tight-knit team. We value leading with empathy in our interactions, working closely with each other and other teams (often deliberately delivering projects as mini teams or co-leads of two), giving back together, and constantly looking to simplify. This role reports directly to the Global SVP of the VE CoE.  

The work you’ll do:  

Demo Roadmap, Strategy & Best Practices:

  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Business Apps and other teams to develop and execute demo roadmaps, scripts, and release plans. 
  • Expand demo offerings by addressing high-impact use cases across various industries.
  • Develop value narratives around core use cases, emphasizing the value proposition of our technology.
  • Primary ambassador for demos at Celonis, spearheading presentations and enablement sessions on demo best practices.

Demo Environment & Operations:

  • Drive adoption of demos within the TryCelonis platform.
  • Manage the team in updating and maintaining demos and assets within TryCelonis.
  • Oversee demo operations, including demo analytics and the demo release process

Team Management: Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and coaching a team of demo engineers. 

Enablement: Enable GTM Value Engineering team on demos & best practices.  

Executive Demos & Thought Leadership: Support high-value, critical deals by providing expert services and coaching to field teams & act as a liaison with Celonis leadership to facilitate executive demo engagements.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Engineer (pre-sales), Management Consultant or Product Manager, with significant customer-facing expertise.
  • Extensive experience in building, presenting, and refining demos, with a track record of excellence recognized by peers and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for collaboration and a natural aptitude for leadership.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, with strong prioritization skills to focus on the most impactful projects.
  • Executive presence with the capability to independently represent and articulate the comprehensive demo strategy.
  • Action-oriented mindset with a strong drive for execution and results.
  • Skilled in coaching, motivating, and developing a team of specialized demo engineers.
  • Quick learner and problem solver who adapts rapidly to new challenges and can pivot or improvise as needed.
