The Role:

Being a global hyper-growth leader in process mining technology, our goal at Celonis is to establish our Intelligent Business Cloud as a standard SaaS solution in any company. Celonis is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to drive complex architectural design and implementation with a focus on scalability and reliability. Our Java services are built on Java 11 and Spring Boot.

The work you’ll do:

  • Tackle high ambiguity problems and deliver strategic impact for your team and organization
  • Maintain a high-level technical vision across teams and system boundaries
  • Guide a team of experienced engineers on open-ended technical topics and architectural design
  • Have a strong say in the technical vision and strategy of your team
  • Continuously focus on the scalability and reliability of our services
  • Collaborate with other Engineering teams to deliver broad-impact technical projects

The qualifications you need:

  • 10+ years of experience in building Java web applications professionally
  • Strong experience working with Spring Boot
  • Well versed in complex microservice based architectures
  • Able to drive technical solutions to complex problems, with focus on stability and scalability
  • High-level understanding of domain, product and architecture
  • Able to support and coach mid- to senior level colleagues
  • Excellent English communication skills
