Celonis is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to drive complex architectural design and implementation with a focus on scalability and reliability. Our Java services are built on Java 11 and Spring Boot.
The work you’ll do:
- Tackle high ambiguity problems and deliver strategic impact for your team and organization
- Maintain a high-level technical vision across teams and system boundaries
- Guide a team of experienced engineers on open-ended technical topics and architectural design
- Have a strong say in the technical vision and strategy of your team
- Continuously focus on the scalability and reliability of our services
- Collaborate with other Engineering teams to deliver broad-impact technical projects
The qualifications you need:
- 10+ years of experience in building Java web applications professionally
- Strong experience working with Spring Boot
- Well versed in complex microservice based architectures
- Able to drive technical solutions to complex problems, with focus on stability and scalability
- High-level understanding of domain, product and architecture
- Able to support and coach mid- to senior level colleagues
- Excellent English communication skills
