cBEYONData is hiring SAP Financials Functional Consultant(s) to support our Department of Defense and Federal clients to ensure their IT systems are helping them achieve their strategic goals and objectives. This position will work closely with end-users and functional stakeholders to elicit and analyze complex, cross-functional processes and system requirements with the goal of developing innovative solutions for our clients using SAP applications, including SAP S/4 HANA and other UI/UX tools such as (Fiori) technology. Our consultants support large-scale business process re-engineering (BPR) efforts, and we are looking for a resource specializing in SAP FI/CO, Funds Management, Accounts Payable (AP), and / or Accounts Receivable (AR) related processes. Experience using DoD or Federal Legacy SAP ERP Systems such as Army’s GFEBS, LMP, GCSS-Army and AESIP or Navy ERP, or IRS Integrated Financial Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for gathering and maintaining business and system requirements for mid to large enterprise applications.
  • Provide SAP FI, CO, AP, AR, Funds Management related business process analysis to identify business process impacts of system changes.
  • Solution Design: Design and document SAP Financials solutions, including configuration and customization to address client requirements.
  • Configuration: Configure SAP Financial modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), FM (Funds Management, AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), and others.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP Financials and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) as well as third-party systems.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives and strategies to ensure architectural vision is fully aligned with those objectives and strategies.
  • Conduct workshops with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current business processes, issues, SAP footprint, future goals, and objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP FICO, FM, AP & AR to guide and integrate diverse stakeholder requirements into a holistic BPR approach for relevant Financial E2E processes.
  • Prepare and present briefings to the client and program leads on approach, courses of action, and implementation status.
  • S/4HANA Implementation: Lead or participate in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Financials, including planning, blueprinting, and realization phases.
  • Migration to S/4HANA: Manage and execute migration projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including system conversion and data migration.
  • Configuration of S/4HANA Modules: Configure key S/4HANA Financials modules such as SAP Finance (SAP FI), Controlling (SAP CO), Central Finance, and Treasury and Risk Management.
  • S/4HANA Best Practices: Leverage S/4HANA best practices and pre-configured solutions to optimize financial processes and implement innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • At least four (4) years of experience in business process analysis/management, enterprise solution implementations, operations analysis and/or strategic planning and a background in management consulting.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in the architecture, design and configuration of SAP FI/CO modules and Funds Management (SAP ECC required; S/4Hana implementation experience preferred.)
  • Experience in planning and leading requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and Functional POC’s in the Federal government sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of impacts of FICO related configuration on other modules like MM, PP, etc.
  • Experience working within a Software/Systems Development Life Cycle with solid understanding of the roles and tasks involved.
  • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Experience with multiple software development methodologies to include agile methodologies such as scrum or Scaled Agile Framework
  • Experience supporting ERP solutions and other enterprise software.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills in a rapidly changing, high intensity, mission-oriented work environment.
  • Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
