About the Role

As the HR Manager at CB Civil, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture and supporting our team's growth and development. You'll oversee all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organisation and contribute to our continued success.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements. 
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to employees and managers. 
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning. 
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies. 
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate HR records. 
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation. 
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing HR insights and recommendations to support business objectives.  


About You

  • Minimum of 8+ years of HR advisory experience. 
  • Experience in civil or construction preferred. 
  • Ability and preference to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with others. 
  • Passionate about HR, with strong influencing skills and a compassionate and resilient demeanor. 
  • Must be open to traveling to the various work site locations when required
  • Previous experience working with Senior Leadership Teams in high-paced business environments.
