Position Description

We are seeking a Director of Marketing Operations and Communications to focus on new member acquisition and how we communicate our brand. This is a generalist role that will allow you to leverage your strategic marketing skills to creatively brainstorm ways to enhance brand recognition and visibility. This role will be reporting to the Head of Growth.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Lead brand messaging and strategy development to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market positioning 
  • Create a strategy and structured approach for outreach through digital, print, and in-person channels for prospective members to increase new enrollments into the program 
  • Own existing marketing assets, organize campaigns and develop content plans to support various types of activities for lead generation, site engagement, nurture etc. from ideation to execution
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against organizational goals
  • Collaborate with new and existing community partners to develop co-branded materials and promotions
  • Work with marketing platforms and liaise with vendors to publish or deploy marketing material 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Operations, Product and Engineering to iterate and continually improve marketing operations

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years previous marketing experience, preferably in healthcare and/or D2C marketing environment
  • Develop and drive informed decision making based on analytics
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • An understanding of and ability to outreach to vulnerable and diverse populations
  • Experience with member engagement and familiarity with engagement best practices preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and aptitude for relationship-building and problem-solving 
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and familiarity with various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for developing a differentiated and consistent brand voice
  • Highly motivated, organized self starter who can lead initiatives independently but also collaborate and build alignment in a multi-disciplinary team 
  • Experience working with brand agencies or rebranding internally
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Authorized to work and located in the United States
