Job Description: As a Design/Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with our marketing, growth, and product development teams to create visually engaging graphics and user interfaces that resonate with our target audience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about women's health and eager to gain hands-on experience in design marketing and social media marketing within the booming Femtech Startup World.

This is a paid internship

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of graphic elements for digital and print media, including social media graphics, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement within the maternal health community.
  • Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and community engagement.
  • Assist in managing the social media content calendar, scheduling posts, and tracking performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and optimize strategies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Help ensure brand consistency across all visual communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet business goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiar with prototyping tools like Sketch, Canva or Figma.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong passion for women’s health and health equity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
