Cat Daddy is growing and seeking a Game Monetization Manager to join our Live Ops team.

This position is hybrid with in-office time required each week.

What We Need:

 

Cat Daddy Games is seeking an experienced Game Monetization Manager to define and manage the monetization strategy of WWE SuperCard. We are looking for a sharp, disciplined individual who has a passion for games, and a track record of managing live game economies and userbase health.

 

The Game Monetization Manager makes bold, real-time decisions that directly influence the economy and engagement of the game.  Developing plans with a big-picture approach, focusing on the long-term growth and sustainability of the game, while maximizing game revenue is vital. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and persistent in ensuring successful plan execution. 

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Develop in-game content plans, including events, sales, and promotions to drive consistent and sustainable growth in engagement and monetization.
  • Own the monthly live ops calendar and work with other members of the Live Ops team on all day-to-day elements.
  • Communicate ideas to stakeholders, integrate feedback and direction, and drive the implementation of approved plans
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Community teams on the in-game communication strategies and plans
  • Be a Community advocate. Listen to Community sentiment and members and react when necessary.
  • Develop measurable criteria to determine success of an event and utilize findings in subsequent releases
  • Monitor key player metrics on a real-time basis to determine user trends and behavior
  • Recognize and stay abreast of trends, patterns, and consumer preferences in mobile gaming

 

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

 

  • Experience working on live events for a gaming company
  • Experience developing in-game revenue/monetization and retention strategies
  • Strong marketing knowledge to formulate in-game sales strategies
  • Proven ability to reason both logically and creatively
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the free-to-play gaming market
  • Ability to operate within content management systems and/or bespoke tools to drive, schedule and execute live ops events and content
  • Strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment
  • Detail orientated and fast learner
  • Experience with Perforce, Test Track Pro is a plus
  • Proficiency with SQL and Tableau a plus
  • Proficiency with general code parsing (html, json) and/or basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, C++) is a plus



The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $130,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
