What We Need:
The UI Artist plays a significant role in shaping the visual art to support the overall game design and user experience for our mobile titles. The ideal candidate understands the importance of visual communication; staying abreast of current trends and adapting those trends into an interactive mobile game experience.

 What You Will Do:
  • Assist in developing the UI visual design needs in accordance with the project's game design philosophies and artistic directions
  • Concept, iterate, and produce assets throughout all stages of development and helping to develop a cohesive UI style guide w/ leads and key stakeholders
  • Create efficient and polished icons, buttons, menu layouts, and any other needed visual assets
  • Turn wireframes into a masterpiece of meticulously arranged pixels • Sketch or concept ideas to contribute to the overall visual appeal for UI and presentation
  • Take visual designs to the next level and iterate on the look and feel set by art leads by using your arsenal of layout, composition, and typography knowledge
  • Learn new tools and processes that help to elevate the quality of the UI aesthetics that enhances the overall user experience
 Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile game/app development
  • Strong traditional art experience with the ability to create assets from sketches all the way to final game art
  • Solid understanding of the limitations of information display and interactivity on today's mobile devices
  • Ability to break down asset requests and execute on specifics, with or without close direction
  • Organized and detailed. File and layer names are as important as your family name
  • Able to respond elegantly to difficult creative changes, often late in the process
  • Self-motivated towards solving creative problems
  • Experience in a secondary area such as motion graphics, typography, animation, modeling, skinning, or lighting
  • A passion for games
  • Ability to work with industry standard 2D and 3D graphics applications, including Photoshop and 3D Studio Max (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with the following tools is a plus: Perforce, TestTrackPro (Perforce Helix ALM), and Favro
