Purpose of Position

  • As an Operations Associate within our global retail team, you'll report to the Assistant Global Retail Processes & Operations Manager as well as the Assistant Global Retail Excellence & Training Manager. You will support our two Assistant Managers in executing and optimizing retail strategies worldwide. In this role, you will work closely with regional teams, internal departments, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and effective implementation of retail initiatives. In addition to this, you will also provide general administrative support for ad-hoc tasks within the global retail office.

Job Description

  • Assist the team in implementing retail strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support and learn from the supervision and mentorship provided by senior team members to meet operational objectives effectively.
  • Help maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for global retail operations, contributing to enhanced efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in maintaining existing reports and dashboards to ensure data consistency and keep stakeholders informed about key metrics and performance.
  • Contribute to the management and execution of retail projects under the guidance of senior team members, learning project management skills along the way.
  • Assist in the execution of retail marketing strategies to promote products and services, gaining hands-on experience in marketing tactics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners as directed, learning to effectively communicate and coordinate for project implementation and issue resolution.
  • Aid in collecting and organizing feedback from regional teams, contributing to insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the development of weekly global directives, learning to facilitate the flow of information from Global Headquarters to regional Headquarters and stores.

 Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Strong passion for the retail industry and eagerness to learn about retail operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic analytical skills and the ability to learn to interpret data.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and growth within the retail industry.
  • Proficient in using analytical tools, such as Excel, and reporting/BI tools.
  • Proficient In verbal and written English, Cantonese/Chinese.
