Purpose of Position

The Accessories Designer Intern will assist the design team and product director in bringing new product concepts to life. They will help with research, designing, prototyping and sample production. The goal of this internship is for the intern to gain valuable hands-on experience in the accessories design process.

This is a paid internship for 3-6 months. The goal is for interns to gain hands-on experience and make valuable connections within the industry.

Job Description

Assist with trend research and compiling inspiration boards
Sketch initial design concepts and renderings following designers' directions
Source materials and work with product development team on samples and prototypes
Assist in giving comments and actioning design amendments as needed

Requirement

Pursuing a degree in fashion/textile design, product design or related field
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Strong drawing and visualization skills
Proficiency in 3D CAD for textile is a plus
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good communication and collaboration skills in English
Interest in accessories design, trend forecasting and technical design
Works well independently and as part of a team
