Purpose:

Based in the Hong Kong Headquarters, this role is to drive comprehensive process improvement initiatives globally, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate customer satisfaction. This role involves analyzing existing processes, implementing innovative solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to optimize operations and achieve process excellence. The Process Transformation Director will lead change management initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, develop training programs, and ensure successful adoption of process improvements throughout the organization.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive process improvement strategy for the company, focusing on areas such as operational efficiency, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, document, and analyze existing business processes across different departments and functions within the organization. Use techniques such as value stream mapping, process flowcharts, and data analysis to understand process bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by leading change management initiatives and fostering a mindset of innovation and process excellence throughout the organization. Develop and implement change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and track progress over time. Establish mechanisms for regular monitoring, reporting, and analysis of process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including department heads, senior management, and front-line employees, to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions. Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and leverage appropriate technological solutions, such as automation, data analytics, and digital tools, to drive process efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with IT teams to evaluate, select, and implement relevant technology platforms.
  • Develop training programs and materials to educate employees on new processes, tools, and methodologies. Provide coaching and support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years relevant experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or operational excellence roles within the retail and manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail and manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and industry best practices. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and performance measurement techniques. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Hands-on experience and ability to work independently with excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and driving organizational transformation. Ability to navigate resistance to change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor process improvement initiatives within defined timelines and budgets. PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with process automation tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics platforms. Ability to leverage technology to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.
