We are looking for an Accounting Officer experienced in maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be part of the Global Finance team.

Job Description

  • Assist with book-keeping and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • In charge of payment requisition review and control procedures, recording transactions and initial payment applications for management approval.
  • Perform the monthly reconciliation for the store sales, recording transactions and follow up accounts receivable collection.
  • Prepare for the bi-monthly VAT filing and withholding tax calculation.
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparing supporting schedules.
  • Assist in year-end audit, tax filing and income filing for the Company, including the preparation of audit schedules and reporting package.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as assigned by the management

 Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hands-on accounting or accounting firm
  • Experience in e-commerce business, retail industry or global accounting is an advantage
  • Responsible, self-disciplined, proactive, good team player and detail-minded
  • Able to handle multi-tasks and meet deadlines
  • Mature and independent with high level of proactiveness
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software; Knowledge in Netsuite accounting system is a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English
