Purpose of Position

  • As Assistant Manager within our retail team, you'll directly report to the Global Retail Operations Manager, acting as a pivotal liaison between regional teams and headquarters. You'll enhance our retail operations by conducting analysis, identifying insights, and devising and executing retail programs across regions. Your main responsibilities will include business analysis, process and program design and implementation, communication, project execution, and associated administrative tasks.

Job Description

  • Assist the Global Retail Operations Manager in formulating and implementing retail strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor global retail operations associates to meet operational objectives.
  • Execute performance incentive programs and training for regional retail managers to improve problem-solving skills, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Enhance systems to track operational KPIs for regional markets, evaluating store performance and identifying opportunities for sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
  • Analyze feedback from regional teams to gain insights and offer recommendations and solutions.
  • Manage the execution of retail projects from start to finish.
  • Design and execute retail marketing strategies to promote products and services.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners for project implementation and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Policies & Procedures and local regulations.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity in global or regional multi-store management and operations.
  • Proven track record in devising and implementing processes and programs to improve sales performance, operational efficiencies, customer service levels, retail marketing, and employee development/engagement across multiple regions.
  • Proven track record in business planning and analysis.
  • Well versed in retail operational functions and principles, from KPIs to incentive programs to resource management.
  • Effective in planning, collaborating, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in project management, e-commerce, or consumer products is advantageous.
  • Analytical, resourceful, collaborative, agile, and results oriented.
  • Passion for analysis, people, technology, fashion, and lifestyle brands.
  • Proficient in using analytical tools, such as Excel, and reporting/BI tools.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English, Cantonese/Chinese.
