CASETiFY is looking for an entrepreneurial, creative and passionate Senior Operations Associate, directly reporting to the Global Business Development Manager, to join our team. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, thrive in a fast paced environment and be detail-oriented. He/ She must be a self-starter and a team player with the ability to quickly identify areas of opportunity to create procedures that increase efficiencies, scalability and effectiveness.

Job Description

Coordinate with internal teams (including Design, Retail, Marketplace, Logistics, Production) and forwarders/couriers on shipments consolidation and arrangement
Manage all logistics activities from inbound freight from suppliers, 3PL warehousing and outbound freight to customers.
Work with Planning, Purchasing and Suppliers to coordinate shipments inbound to 3PL from suppliers.
Aligning customer rework activities with our 3PL before despatching deliveries.
Work with Global Supply Chain Compliance team for all import, export, duty and VAT matters
Track and monitor order and shipment status to ensure shipment arrives on time
Monitor planning dates within our ERP system and address delays with carriers.
A point of contact for carrier issues for both DDP, FOB, and Ex-works shipments.
Assist in ad-hoc projects and new initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor degree or above in Business, Supply Chain, Operations discipline or equivalent
3+ year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a FMCG and consumer products company
In depth working knowledge of Supply Chain (logistics, distribution, freight carriers, rates and third party logistics service providers)
Thorough understanding of supply chain concepts, principles, procedures and applications
Experience with MRP/ERP systems is essential
Fluent in English, excellent in verbal and written communication, presentation skills
Passionate about technology, fashion, lifestyle brands, and be part of a growing start-up team
Great problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
Proven initiative (self-starter), independence, self-reliance and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience.
Date-driven, logical, systematic, organised and proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to work with large amounts of data and creatively seek information to improve processes, find solutions to business issues, and drive resolution, in a practical and positive approach.
