This position will report to our Compliance Manager.

Job Description

  • Assist with the regulatory compliance matters for the group in different markets (including Hong Kong, China, United States and other jurisdictions), particularly in the following areas:

- Data privacy 

- Consumer protection

- Marketing and advertising regulations

  • Assist to develop and implement internal regulatory compliance policies
  • Assist to develop and maintain regulatory library, including research and keep up-to-date on the regulatory development in the above-mentioned areas and other areas as necessary (such as employment law)  
  • Assist with the legal review and approval of advertising, marketing, promotional and packaging materials and the relevant terms and conditions to ensure compliance with the applicable legal requirements in different markets
  • Coordinate and liaise with external/local legal counsels in different markets on the regulatory compliance matters and monitor their performance

 

Requirement

  • 5+ years of related working experience in regulatory compliance with respect to data privacy, consumer protection, marketing and advertising 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related legal field (degree or diploma holder in other disciplines with solid experiences in regulatory compliance will also be considered)
  • With high ability to work independently, and to plan, organize and prioritize task 
  • Well-organized, analytical-minded and attention to details is a must
  • Strong legal research, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Good command on both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin and Simplified Chinese
  • Immediate availability preferred
