- CASETiFY is looking for an Industrial Designer with a passion for innovative design solutions and a hunger to do exceptionally great work. As a key member of our product design team, you will play a vital role in developing and executing extraordinary products at CASETiFY.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user needs, and design objectives.
- Research, conceptualize and develop unique and captivating product designs that align with brand core values, market trends and user expectations.
- Stay updated on the latest cultural trends, art movements, and design influences to infuse fresh perspectives into your work.
- Embrace diverse product categories and explore unconventional design approaches to deliver innovative solutions.
- Actively contribute to design thinking sessions, crit sessions, and design reviews to foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills, experiment with new techniques, and stay informed about advancements in industrial design.
- Produce product design drawings, from first sketches to photorealistic 3D renders.
- Provide design specification including color, material, texture and finishing that reflect market trends.
- Develop industrial design mock-ups when required.
- Packaging Structure and Design.
- Present design concepts to internal teams and effectively communicate your vision and design rationale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
- At least 5 years experience as an Industrial Designer, preferably in a design studio or agency setting.
- Proficiency in design software such as Grasshopper (or other computational design tools), SolidWorks, and AI-generative design tools.
- Knowledgeable in 3D knitting related software tools is a plus.
- Well verse in Design thinking.
- Ability to do analyze and synthesize research.
- Demonstrated ability to create innovative and visually stunning designs with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Passionate about the latest cultural trends, art, and design, with a strong appreciation for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore diverse product categories and challenge design conventions.
- Self-motivated, obsessive attention to detail, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team player with a positive attitude, open to receiving feedback, and actively contributing to a collaborative work environment.
