Purpose of Position

We’re now looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate Data Engineer to join our team. This role is a technical position responsible for building a centralized data warehouse to maximize the business impact. The ideal candidate will be excited by complicated problems and try to solve them with creative, elegant, and simple solutions. He/She must be a self-starter and a team player with the ability to quickly identify better solutions that increase efficiencies, scalability as well as the effectiveness for data pipeline and data warehouse design. Role seniority will be considered depending on experience.

Job Description

Design and build data pipelines across multiple data sources including SQL database, advertisement platform and manufacturing system
Architect data models and systems that accurately and reliably provide company’s primary data for business needs
Maintain a high level of data integrity and develop scalable data cleaning solutions
Pledge to simplify the complexities of influencer marketing by building robust data systems that multiply human efforts
Be at the forefront of comprehending useful data engineering tools and best practices
Produce tested and maintainable code to help all of the above

Requirement

Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Information System or related discipline
3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or development, preferably from e-commerce or consumer products industry
Experience in data warehouse, data lake, ETL pipelines design and building
Strong programming skills in Python and API development
Solid experience in performance optimization for SQL query execution
Experience in cloud platform with AWS / Databricks a big plus
Fluent in English, excellent in verbal and written communication, presentation skills
Passionate about technology, data, lifestyle brands and be part of a growing start-up team
