WE’RE LOOKING FOR….

An experienced and collaborative Senior/Regional Loss Prevention Manager to join a rapidly growing organization and efficiently and effectively provide security services and protection at its facilities. The Senior Loss Prevention Manager will supervise and support external vendors and a team of internal on-site loss prevention associates and partner with various groups (such as HR, Operations, Corporate Insurance, Supply Chain, and Facilities) to implement preventative measures to prevent loss. The position is corporate based.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to spearhead the improvement and evolution of a Loss Prevention Program for each facility type
  • Support the HR and Operations departments by partnering with them to jointly communicate, maintain, and enhance LP policies, practices, and initiatives that balance security, culture, financial, and operational goals
  • Manage individual LP team members at various company locations in the U.S., primarily vehicle reconditioning and storage facilities, including developing and leading same and reviewing and approving their reports
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and exception based reporting to help reduce loss and identify trends and root causes
  • Serve as department’s liaison and security subject matter expert
  • Develop, manage, and retain vendors who raise the performance bar of security services
  • Ensure investigations of internal and external theft and fraud are properly conducted, in close partnership with HR and applicable operating departments.
  • Monitor, supervise, and improve periodic facility security assessments
  • Effectively address security incidents including potential and actual work-place violence incidents per policy as well as conduct testing of the incident response plans
  • Interface directly with law enforcement for open cases and relationship building.
  • Foster open and productive working relationships with other applicable company departments
  • Support expansion groups for security set up and new locations.
  • Exercise prudent discretion regarding confidential and sensitive personnel information
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel required - 35%


These skills are a plus:

  • At least 10 years of Loss Prevention leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience overseeing loss prevention at multiple locations simultaneously
  • At least 5 years’ experience directly supervising and managing a team
  • Background in program development (writing samples to be provided for interview).
  • Knowledge of how to utilize Microsoft systems.
  • Certification or background in Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) techniques.
