JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a Coordinator you will be an important part of the HR Operations team, assisting in the administration, implementation and execution of Carvana’s Employee Benefits and Leave programs.

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, motivated, and passionate about advancing current Benefits/Leave initiatives and helping cultivate an “ideal employee experience.” You will have the unique opportunity to work alongside top-caliber People Ops as well as all other teams across the organization, learning tons and having fun along the way!                                                               

 

SPECIFICALLY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE… 

Assisting with administrative duties, record keeping and reporting related to Leaves and Benefits

Ensures that all necessary documentation is received, distributed and routed to the appropriate parties

Assisting with proactive employee outreach, and communication of expectations to all involved groups

Regularly keeps all impacted groups notified of status updates and pertinent issues, including Legal Teams, vendors, Management team, and Payroll team 

Ensuring data integrity between our internal systems and our vendors

Assisting with day-to-day employee inquiries regarding leaves and benefits

Assisting with process improvement, focusing on efficiency and accuracy

Other HR projects and assignments as needed

 

THE QUALIFYING CANDIDATE MUST HAVE…

At least 1 year of work experience in a Human Resources, Administrative Assistant or Customer Service capacity

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution

Highest level of customer service and sense of urgency

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to support and communicate policy and procedure

Consistently able to use ultimate discretion regarding confidential and sensitive personnel data

Ability to interpret data and processes

Ability to maintain routine reports

Initiative and ability to execute

The Benefits and Leave Coordinator will be an hourly full-time position based at Carvana’s Home Office in Phoenix, AZ.
