We’re looking for a top-notch Strategy Analyst to join the team in Singapore. The Strategy team supports the development and management of the company’s strategy at both the corporate and business unit level. You will be working closely with the leadership team across the Carousell organisation in formulating, reviewing and advising the business strategy, supported by industry and data-driven insights.

You will:

Corporate strategy

  • Assess and track industry trends, provide meaningful insights with potential strategic implications and identify opportunities for growth
  • Analyse the performance of the business portfolio to review areas for strategy adjustments or execution improvements
  • Engage the executive team in the development of the company’s strategy
  • Help align BU strategy with corporate strategy

Business unit strategy

  • Support strategy development for business units with industry analysis and deep-dive into specific topics where you will structure business issues, analyse and synthesise insights to develop compelling and actionable recommendations to business units

Planning process

  • Support the corporate planning cadence and partner with business leaders in the development of their plans
  • Develop and deliver clear and persuasive communications to influence stakeholders to drive implementation against insights and/ or of recommendations by cross-functional teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and execute on tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting

You have:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in consulting/ strategy or analytical roles. Experience in digital marketplaces/ classifieds/ e-commerce/ media industries is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong business judgment. Ability to use 80/20 principle to solve problems quickly and to prioritise issues
  • Effective writing, presentation and communication skills. Able to communicate complex analyses in a simple, concise and structured manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable and to influence
  • Proficient in industry research, quantitative analyses, forecasting/ modelling
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research is a plus
  • Degree with good honours or higher from a top tier university
