We are looking for a Business Development / Sales Intern to assist the Car Sales Manager for the growth of the car categories on Carousell in Hong Kong.

The Business Development / Sales intern will be responsible for helping to acquire new partners, maintaining a high customer support service quality, increasing the number of users, items listed, traffic, transactions and revenue in these categories.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager to ensure the daily business operations are running smoothly 
  • Plan, implement and coordinate company sales projects (including marketing campaign, social media marketing etc.) 
  • Hunt new business and develop existing customer opportunities for Carousell Auto revenue/volume growth 
  • Liaise and attend marketing activities, including events, exhibitions, business meeting with BD Manager to perform sales and customer relationship development. 
  • Establish professional strategies and relationship to retain customers
  • Ad hoc project assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Availability: 3 days working per week (1 day can work from home)
  • Passionate about the world of online buying and selling
  • Some understanding the cars category and the 1st and 2nd hand buy/sell behavior in Hong Kong
  • Quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced and often unpredictable working environment
  • Creative and comfortable with pitching unconventional ideas to market Carousell to our target demographic
