CARMERA is looking for an individual to assist with all aspects of Office Operations to help keep our team efficient, productive, and happy. CARMERA looks for hard-working, self-starters with an interest in new technologies and the ability to complete tasks quickly with minimal supervision. This Seattle-based role reports to the Director of People, who is based in New York.

 Your Role:

  • Maintain a well-stocked, productive, and lively office environment
  • Manage office purchasing, supply and equipment management, lunch ordering, and special requests
  • Be the first point of contact for office visitors, candidates, vendors in our Seattle office
  • Support onboarding logistics for new employees
  • Juggle multiple initiatives and tasks at once, regularly refining prioritization
  • Occasional support with travel booking, scheduling, correspondence, and general administrative support
  • Plan and execute team events and outings
  • Ad-hoc long-term special projects and on-demand research projects
  • The ability to adapt and contribute to an ever-changing start-up environment.

 Qualifications:

  • Located in Seattle, WA (we support remote employees, but this position requires regular in-office presence)
  • Several years of administrative or operational support, preferably in a technology environment
  • Incredible attention to detail and execution
  • Self-starter, highly communicative and ready to prioritize (and re-prioritize) on-the-fly
  • Experience working with and supporting remote teammates
  • A collaborative, flexible, and supportive approach to work
  • Experienced managing an office move and/or outfitting a new is a plus
  • Strong interest or experience in recruitment is a plus
  • Experience with complex calendaring is a plus
