CARMERA is growing the product organization by hiring a Product Manager to drive adoption with Autonomous Vehicle (AV) customers, help build CARMERA Autonomous Map, and work with suppliers. 

Your Role:

  • Use deep product knowledge coupled with understanding of the requirements of AV development teams to ask and answer questions from and drive adoption with potential customers in face-to-face meetings, formal proposals, and informal follow-ups.
  • Bring knowledge gained from this direct customer interaction into the program management teams internal process to ensure that the requirements being defined for new engineering work reflect our latest market insights
  • Work closely with Business Development and Product Marketing to ensure our products are being presented to the world how we want them to be, and hold the pen on portions of initial drafts of scopes of work to be included in contracts
  • Work with suppliers to ensure a strong working relationship between teams, that they always are improving quality, and on scheduling/scaling management
  • As needed, dig deep into LIDAR and vector geospatial data, and user facing applications and services using that data to help CARMERA continue to be seen as the leader in this space


  • Required:
    • Demonstrated experience working on deeply technical topics with customers and/or suppliers
    • Good knowledge of how to align requirements between teams (internal and external)
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple products, customers, and teams at one time
    • Great English communication skills
  • Recommended:
    • Prior experience working directly with engineering teams
    • Experience with geospatial software such as QGIS, ESRI Products, MapBox, and/or other open source software systems
    • Proven track record of helping organizations deliver on time
