CARMERA is looking for a Finance Associate to drive day-to-day finance systems and processes, and accounting to drive profitability while ensuring best practices across the organization. This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

 

Your Role:

  • Manage the monthly and annual closing of the books including maintaining a closing checklist and reporting package and ensuring all deliverables are completed per the close timeline
  • Manage financials controls and accounting functions including P&L, B/S, and various analyses.
  • Build and managed the tools for organizational financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Oversee and manage banking relationships, AP, AR, POs, and relations with external finance teams
  • Implement and enforce GAAP - compliant accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate documentation of each to ensure effective control and reporting in accordance with GAAP
  • Administer Payroll and employee expense policies and reimbursements
  • Coordinate with People Operations team during onboarding and offboarding to ensure employee HRIS systems are accurate
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with external CPA

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA Preferred
  • 4+ Years Accounting Experience
  • Scaling billing and collections processes
  • Experience with Xero
  • Strong Analytical, operational, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Execution-oriented ‘do-er’ with previous experience in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
