CARMERA is looking for a Recruiter to drive recruitment strategy, candidate sourcing, and recruitment processes to help our team acquire world-class talent. This external facing role will also serve as a primary recruiting point of contact within the organization.

Over time, you will help identify and hire new employees as you manage the candidate experience from start to finish.  You will quickly become an indispensable member of the NY-based People Operations team.

Your Role:

  • Oversee the candidate experience at all touch points
  • Source: Identify potential candidates from a variety sources including managing job boards and through direct outreach to passive candidates
  • Evaluate: Screen candidates and manage their progression through our hiring process
  • Coordinate: Work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand the team’s needs and attract the best talent to match those needs
  • Ensure hiring managers and interviews are schedules efficiently and teams are well prepared for interviews
  • Willingness and ability to provide limited administrative and office operations support to our local team as an extension of our NY-based People Operations team


  • 4+ years of experience as a recruiter, preferably for technical or engineering roles
  • Experience with leading ATS systems and functions
  • Natural process builder, you love improving and streamlining processes, especially in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and regulations, specifically related to hiring
