We are seeking an intern to join our investor relations and corporate communications team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop conference planning, social media calendar planning, news monitoring, and material development based on corporate messaging
- Support execution of communications plans with the investor relations and corporate communications team
- Track, coordinate with speakers, and plan for industry, medical, scientific and investor conferences
- Research and provide background information on reporters, investors, and analysts ahead of media interviews and investor/analyst meetings and conferences
- Read daily news coverage on Caribou, peers, and industry and use to prepare media monitoring reports for internal review, then distribution
- Develop communications materials (press releases, emails, Q&As, website text, corporate presentation, social media posts) based on corporate messaging
- Manage social media calendar and planning
- Maintain and organize storage of materials on company’s shared storage platform
- Help schedule and observe a speaker training session
- Assess peers’ communications materials and present recommendations at the end of the internship
Qualifications:
- Completed sophomore or junior year in an accredited university program, focused on business, communications, scientific majors
- Solid integrity, judgement, and management of confidential information
Optional qualifications:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations in Power Point
- Analytical skills for understanding content and presenting in clear way
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn something new each day
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail
- Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, social media platforms (LinkedIn, X)
