ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Lifecycle Senior Specialist builds customer journeys that drive applications and conversions for Caribou’s auto refinance and insurance products. The right candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on experience creating B2C email campaigns that engage customers and drive conversion. Experience creating SMS campaigns is a plus. The Senior Specialist also has experience building HTML email and SMS messages including dynamic, personalized content. The ideal candidate is curious and proactively seeks out new solutions to improve the program. Reports to Director, Lifecycle Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Build & Execute - Build emails, SMS messages,  automations and journeys. Support the team as a QA partner. Troubleshoot automation and journey errors. Set up audience segments.
  • Journey Creation - Create lifecycle marketing journeys and automated programs using the email and SMS channels to engage and convert prospects for the Caribou refinance and insurance businesses.
  • Data Integration - Help QA and maintain data integrations, solve errors, and ensure daily automations run smoothly. 
  • Personalized Experiences - Use dynamic content and available data to create personalized email and SMS messages.
  • Reporting - Ensure that live messages follow established tracking schema. Put appropriate tracking in place for efficient reporting of complex journeys. 
  • Collaborate - Partner with the Sales, Ops, and Product teams to identify and implement communications that improve the customer experience.
  • Test & Learn - Identify opportunities and implement testing to optimize the program using statistically sound testing approaches. Make recommendations to improve performance.

About You

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience using a marketing automation platform, such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Responsys or Iterable
  • Experience creating customer journeys 
  • Experience with HTML/CSS coding for email and responsive design best practices
  • Experience with the SMS channel is a plus
  • Understanding of databases and segment creation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects across multiple teams
  • Ability to solve complex data and technical issues
  • Must exhibit strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent team player with strong collaborative skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and flourish in a fast-paced, global environment
  • An ability to prioritize multiple active projects, multi-task and manage time effectively to meet (sometimes quick) deadlines
